Learning with Fun is the MRCC Mantra !

It is indeed a fascinating time in business to witness GEN Y & Millennials successfully collaborate. Together they   are particularly keen on blending in & socializing.

MRCC is no exception to that! Found as a common trait, we are extremely curious to connect with people, explore diverse personalities, team up & exchange thoughts, making our organization so buoyant & positive!

One of the instruments promoting our culture, are the most engaging events hosted at MRCC. Such is the energy & response that it has practically rendered a ritual to organize such events. One of the popular events being MPL- ‘MRCC Premier League’ - our personalized & a rather entertaining version of the IPL.  This year the vivacious Cricket Tournament drew in an overwhelming response with 65 players all set to contest!

Quite like the actual IPL, team owners were at war bidding for the best players, while players savored in the gratifying attention. In the course, teams were finalized & had the task of choosing a witty team name with an anthem played on the office floor to promote their squads.

Teams took to performing rallies on the floor while the audience cheered on.
Teams at their creative best crafted some power packed names -  Royal Raiders,  Battle Hawks,  The Vikings and Zingat Blasters.

The pre-event hustle saw team owners skirmishing amongst each other, players bantering & a few acts of bribery luring the best players. Most excitement ensued when our internal ‘sting operator’ captured all the controversies & posted them along with few hilarious pictures on “Mayapuri” an internal online magazine. Committers were exposed much like a sensational news flash, all in good fun ofcourse!

On the final day, very much in the hide of the heat, all the players dedicatedly played matches of 5 overs each. With the raging spirit needless to say, the competition was tough!  The most grasping moment was when ‘The Vikings’ & ‘Battle Hawks’ scores were tied & played a nerve wrecking ‘Super Over’.  Teams huddled up to conceive strategies. Each ball was a deciding moment on either of the team’s fate.

At the brink of the last ball, team ‘Battle Hawks’ triumphed & pocketed the winning trophy! The day ended with loads of enthusiasm, excitement and celebrations!
The Cultural Committee has been very active in organizing Cultural and Sports events to further encourage employees to bond & showcase their Leadership and Team building skills.

Kudos to the Cultural committee ‘Indradhanush’ & to the enthusiastic employees of MRCC!
